Today, Nikki had an appointment with Dr. Kevin Shea, a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon. He did more x-rays on her arm, and showed us how nicely her arm is already healing!! He is going to check her with more x-rays in 4 weeks.
In the meantime, she has to wear a sling, but no bandage! She is going to be able to swim in two weeks as water therapy...doctor's orders!
When we left the office, Nikki said, "I think I know SOMEBODY, who needs some ice cream!" I agreed, and to DQ we went!
Nikki is such an upbeat little girl, and has not complained about her broken arm once!! We are proud of her bravery, and are asking God to heal her arm quickly!
We were spending the afternoon and evening at Grandpa and Grandma Taylor's today, and Grandpa Bob asked Alex if he wanted to help with the mowing. Of course he did, so Grandpa showed him how to run the mower, and away Alex went!
Now he is excited to run a mowing crew for his dad's company!

Alex looks so grown up on that picture and seriously if he managed that machine, he is doing awesome. I still run into things with mine.

It's so fun to read about the children growing up. Glad the arm is doing good and you will soon have great lawn help.
